Why do you need to keep concrete moist?
New concrete should be kept moist in the first few days to prevent it from drying too quickly. When moisture within the concrete dries too quickly it can weaken the structure, making it more susceptible to cracking. Spray some water daily onto newly poured concrete to help retain moisture.
